No. Not even close. I’ve seen and corrected the poor quality and damage caused by do-it-yourself and various non-professional detailers. As with most things in life, you get what you pay for.
Yes. The person who has everything still needs their car detailed! Detailing is the perfect gift for a birthday, anniversary, graduation, wedding or any special occasion. Gift certificates are also great for employee appreciation. I am happy to work with you to make this a surprise for someone special.
I have a motto. “You’ll find many cheaper, some faster but none better.” The size, type and condition of the vehicle all factor into the length of time it takes. The service you select will have the greatest impact on time. See “Services” for time estimates.
In the summer Maryland experiences extreme heat and humidity. In the winter there is extreme cold and lots of salt on the roadways. The safest approach is to have your vehicle detailed in the fall and spring of each year. The next best option is once a year. Vehicles that have not been properly maintained will require additional time and expense and may not be able to be fully restored.
Regular detailing is the best way to ensure your vehicle is protected and your owner experience is maximized. The most discriminating clients will opt to have their vehicle serviced every three months.
Yes! That “showroom shine” doesn’t last very long. A good-quality, protective coat of wax is rarely applied to new vehicles by dealers. New paint will fade and oxidize rapidly. If you want to protect your investment have it detailed regularly. Wait 6 months from the manufacture date (located on a sticker inside the driver’s door jamb) for your new vehicle’s first detail.
Often the answer is “No!” How valuable is your time? Some people could spend an entire weekend (8-16 hours) working on their vehicle and still not get professional-quality results. Purchasing the equipment and materials needed to fully service vehicles costs hundreds of dollars. Like plumbing or electrical matters around the house, it’s best to leave it to the Professionals.
No. Your time is valuable and often better spent doing other things. Hiring a professional detailer is a wise choice.
Please remove all personal items from the vehicles interior (check under the seats). There is no need to pre-clean interior or exterior surfaces.
Washing your car is important to remove dirt and debris but does little to protect the paint from the damaging rays of the sun, salt and corrosive material on the roadways and environmental contaminants. Detailing only begins with washing. If you want your vehicles interior and exterior surfaces cleaned, protected and looking great for many great years to come than schedule regular appointments with a skilled, local detailer…I recommend Detail Master!
Anytime the outside temperature is between 250F and 950F and it’s not raining. In Maryland that is typically late-February to early December. Of course if you have a garage there are more options.
I will bring all the equipment and material needed. I do not bring a generator or water supply.
All I require is an electric outlet and access to a water hose. A driveway, parking pad or a garage with approximately 5 feet of space around all sides of the vehicle is ideal. I prefer not to detail vehicles on public streets.
